Remaining

Abstracting the concept of remaining through the image of the evening primrose.
The islands are what remain after the fracture. A critical mass of islands of sanity will be enough to bring about change.
The sea is my special place
I look at the evening primrose and it is a green island in my sea.
It slowly opens its yellow flowers that illuminate the night sky.
From the sands it bursts.
It emerges from the shifting ground and can withstand the strong wind.
